Many of our longtime clients know, throughout 2022, the Squarepegs Handyman team was busy turning our family business from a small, two-person operation into a franchise.

As we worked with consultants, franchise specialists and lawyers, we realised this process was moving us away from what we originally set out to do when we created Squarepegs Handyman back in 2019.

Creating Squarepegs Handyman, our goal was to create a handyman business that catered to female clients and provided a very personalised experience where the person who came out to do your quote was the one completing your project, and every client we worked with had the same touchpoints throughout their work with us.

Sticking to this vision was very important to us, and that is why we are taking a different tact with the Squarepegs Handyman franchise.

Rather than working with unknown tradespeople and letting them buy into our business, Squarepegs Handyman is keeping things in the family with our first and only franchisee, Sean’s brother Ryan.

Ryan has been training with us since January or this year, and come November, will be launching Coffs Harbour Squarepegs Handyman.

We are so excited to bring Squarepegs Handyman’s female-first handyman business to Coffs harbour. We are SO looking forward to meeting new people and to working in such a beautiful and vibrant part of the world.

Between now and Coffs Harbour Squarepegs Handyman’s official, full-scale launch in November, Handyman Sean, and the newly minted Handyman Ryan, will be completing in-person estimates and various projects throughout the coming months.
